The Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce selected Schemata Workshop in collaboration with MAKERS to provide urban design and development guidelines for transit oriented development along Broadway in the next decade. The work helped to prioritize community desires for arts, affordable housing, and community meeting spaces, building height, and streetscape while creating a vibrant, pedestrian-oriented business district. Stakeholders included the City of Seattle Office of Economic Development, Sound Transit, Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce, Capitol Hill Community Council, Seattle University, Seattle Central Community College, Seattle LGBT Counseling Service, Cal Anderson Park Alliance, and Capitol Hill Housing.
